FUNNIEST TWILIGHT STORY!!!!

So, I don't know if anyone has heard or read one of my rants about the new Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 movie that came out this weekend. For the last year, I've contemplated whether or not I will see the movie in theaters, complained about the movie being split into two parts, still commented on how much Catherine Hardwick messed up the first movie, discussed whether or not Melissa Rosenberg should have been chosen to write ANY of the movies, let alone ALL of them, and contemplated how Bill Condon was going to transform the final book into any form of a movie.

Now, my greatest hope and fear has been realized!!! I haven't seen the movie yet, although I am almost positive I will see it in theaters (especially now!!!). Here's why...

My friend, Shannon, and a few of her friends went to go see the movie during the midnight premiere and one of her friends FAINTED while Bella was giving birth to her half human/half vampire child on screen! Apparently, the blood and sheer gruesomeness of it all got to her. (NOTE: Shannon said the scene wasn't really all that bad.)

If any of you have read the book, you may understand exactly what happens during the birthing scene, and perhaps even realize that it must have been the most difficult scene to transform from book to the screen.

Suffice to say, this is the most hilarious story I have been told in a long time, and it makes me want to see the movie all the more!!!

  6. I just saw the movie last night and while I wasn't a huge fan of the other movies, I thought it was excellent. The birth scene was difficult to watch though.

  8. Hey, just found you from the blog hop! I read Twilight and was really curious about how they'd handle the birth scene in the movie. I actually don't like the books or the two movies I've seen very much, but I might have to go out of morbid curiosity!

  9. Erin...So am I. That's why the change of heart for me. I totally could have waited for it to come out on DVD, but now I really want to see it in theaters.

Elizabeth...Same here. I heard she's doing fine. Thanks for stopping in to and following. I'll stop by tomorrow and check out your blog! I can't wait.

Dawn...Don't worry. I think she was fine. Have you read the other books though? Honestly, Breaking Dawnw as my least favorite, but I know a lot of other people say it was their favorite.

Colleen...Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I'll be by tomorrow and check your's out!

Shah...No, I think she's just pretty queezy. I've heard great things as well which is surprising considering the same people didn't enjoy the first three movies so much. I guess a new director can do a lot. I'm sure I'll have a review for you when I finally do see it.

Kelsie...Great to hear the review. I've heard similar things. Thanks for stopping by, commenting, and following. I'll be by tomorrow to look at your blog as well.

Cantelmo Family...Thnaks for following. Hope you get the chance to join in on the conversation.

amyrosebrown...Definitly! It's the curiousity that has got me all excited about it. I did enjoy all the books, but I enjoyed less with each sequel. The first is still my favorite, the second, my second favorite, and so on. I feel exactly the opposite about the movies, though. The first was awful, but I feel they get better as they go. SLowly, but surely.

  10. That is funny!
I loved the books but the movies are so-so. It's a love-hate relationship for me! I will see the movie though, of course!!

  13. I have seen the other movies and I really liked them. That's why I can't wait to see the current one. I have never read the books though. I know some movies are not always like the books. Do you feel that the twilight movies pretty much stick to the books?

  14. Alexandra...Yes, the books are fun. I'll come and check out your blogs soon.

Maketta...I feel that the movies do reflect the books pretty well. The general plots are exactly the same. The only thing for me is that Edward is not as tortured or awkward as Robert Pattinson. I actually like his character way more in the book! If you enjoy the movies, I know you would LOVE the books.

  15. The birthing scene actually wasn't that bad.

  16. Erin...I was expecting much worse, but it was certainly more gruesome than any other birthing scene I have seen. I can handle more I feel than some.
