Out of POWER!!!

The power went off promptly at 9:30 Friday evening, just when I was getting into the movie "In Time," which I finally got on DVD, and the power has yet to come back on. Supposedly, we will get it back today around 4PM. I certainly hope so!!! Now, you may all enjoy a picture of my cousin trying to clear out the blizzard that knocked out the precious power.

WELCOME TO NORTHERN MICHIGAN!!! LET ME CLEAR A PATH FOR YOU TO WALK IN!!!

  1. Flippin'heck Aubrie - that's serious snow-fall! Hope you get the leccie on quick sharp and the snow melts away. :)

    If not, go sledging :P

Oh, if you get chance, I'm offering a fab giveaway for a book I think you might like (and a yummy scented candle) - you're are in with a great chance too, as no one else has bitten. :) X

    1. I know! I couldn't believe it when I looked out the window. Well, I could believe it because it has happened before, but we have had such a mild winter so far, I didn't think it was going to fall like that!

Unfortunately, I still had to make it to work as well!

We did get our power back last night though! That's so nice!

  2. I just saw a photo of my friend from Oregon. They are shocked by the snow at this time of year too.

    Beautiful capture btw.

    1. Yeah, craziness! My other cousin took this pic so I give all the credit to her! I thought it was too cool not to share though.

    1. Looks like a wonderland, but more like a freezing nightmare!!! Luckily my dad does all the snowblowing and has a big tractor! We would have been trapped if he didn't spend 3 hours out there clearing everything away. Freaking awsome man!

    2. Your dad does seem pretty respectable. Got to hand it to him. Did you get cabin fever?

    3. A bit on Saturday just because we didn't have power and it wasn't expected to come back on until Tuesday! I read a lot though which was fun. On Sunday we got out though and had lunch and dinner in town and saw a movie.
