A sentence or two on what your blog is about: My blog is completely random. It’s all about my life and how I am living it.

Book Lover Questions…

What is your favorite book and why?  My favorite book would be ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ because it is brilliantly written and takes my imagination to a higher level. Anybody who writes as beautifully as C.S.Lewis shouldn’t be forgotten.

Other favorites? ‘Harry Potter’ ‘Famous Five series’ “Wild Swans’ ‘Paulo Coelho’s works’ ‘Wuthering Heights’ etc.

What’s your favorite genre to read? Mystery, Spirituality and Love.

Where do you like to read? Most preferably in my room, on the couch and in the bathroom. There is no place more peaceful than in the bathroom.

Do you prefer paper books or ebooks? Paper books. The touch of paper and the printed work is what matters.

Do you prefer to buy or borrow books? Buy them because I know how it feels to part with a book and I have a very bad habit of losing stuff or forgetting to return them.

Do you stop reading when you are tired or when you hit chapter breaks? I usually stop reading when I have other work to do but I try to complete the book in one go. I finish reading my books in two days at the most unless they don’t capture my interest or are thick.

When you finish a book do you usually keep it, throw it away, sell it, or give it away? I keep it. I promised my books I will never find a second home for them.

What helps you decide on a book? (Book reviews, suggested by friend, by browsing the shelves, etc.) Browsing the shelves and book reviews. Friends suggest stuff but I end up buying something else.

Do you prefer to read a book that stands on its own or is a part of a series? I don’t mind either as long as the ending is appealing.

So You Want to be a Writer questions…

A few sentences about your writing: What do you write (blog entries, novels, poetry, etc)? Why do you write? I write good poetry and yeah blog a lot. I write books but haven’t finished many. They are pending. I write for the pleasure of it. I write because I want to.

Did you always know that you wanted to write? Yes, I wanted to write since I was a child. My pen name comes after it ‘Zhang’ meaning prose or evolving at a young age. I always wanted to and needed to write.

What’s your favorite food? I can eat anything. I am a big time foodie and love experimenting.

Favorite color? Grey and black.

Favorite song? Wonderwall - Oasis.

Favorite movie? My Fair Lady.

Favorite TV show? F.R.I.E.N.D.S

If you developed a superpower what would it be and why? The power to grow invisible and fly. Then I would visit every place on earth.

What did you want to be when you were little? A Teacher.

What is the answer to life? We are here because we were supposed to be here. Everybody tries finding the meaning to life. It’s great, something superior. Nobody knows what it means. Because if they did, they’d be God themselves.
